Bread Clay

 Did you know that you can make clay using slices of bread?


Ingredients Needed

Medium Sized Bowl
Bread
White Glue
Water
DG Value® Dish Washing Soap

1.    Remove crust from 7 pieces of bread and discard the crust.


 

2.    Break the remaining bread into tiny pieces and put the pieces in a mixing bowl.

 

3.    Add 7 teaspoons of white glue and mix.

 

4.    Add 1/2 teaspoon of water and 1/2 teaspoon DG Value® dish washing detergent.

 

5.    Knead your mixture until it comes to a nice clay like consistency.

 

6.    Make sculptures out of your clay and let air dry.

 

Special Notes
1.    If your mixture is too dry, add a bit more water.

2.   
Air drying usually takes about 24 hours.

3.    Do not eat the dough!
