Give your Valentine something sweet with this conversation starting mason jar! Fill it with sweet treats or blooming florals, it’s sure to be a hit for anyone!

What You'll Need:

  • Crafter's Closet Acrylic Paint Set
  • Crafter's Closet White Acrylic Craft Paint
  • Crafter's Closet Paint Mixing Palette

  • Crafter's Closet Precision Scissors
  • Mason Jar
  • Pencil
  • Hole Punch

Step 1:

  1. Paint entire jar white, applying additional coats as needed. Let dry.
  2. Lightly draw out varying sized hearts with your pencil. Be sure to make some large enough to write little words later on and some tiny ones just for pops of color.

Step 2:

  1. Mix together a light teal color with blue, green, and white and paint a few of the larger hearts. You can also mix purple and white paint and paint a few hearts light purple as well as a light orange. Let dry.
  2. Mix a light pink with red and white paint and paint the remaining larger hearts. Let dry.
  3. Paint all the tiny little hearts with solid red paint. Let dry.

Step 3:

  1. Using a fine red marker or a fine paintbrush and red paint, add cute little words to the larger hearts. Some examples can be: Love, ILU, Be Mine, Call Me, etc.
  2. Download and print the tags on a cardstock and cut out. Punch a hole in the tag and string onto the red ribbon as you wrap it around the top of the mason jar.
  3. Fill with treats or flowers and give to a lucky someone or keep for yourself!
