Mother’s Day Canvas

This canvas art is the perfect Mother’s Day gift.
What You'll Need:
- Crafter's Closet 11" x 14" Canvas
- Crafter's Closet Adhesive Pearl Gems
- Crafter's Closet Acrylic Paint Set
- Crafter's Closet Premium Paint Brushes
- Crafter's Closet Paint Mixing Palette
- Crafter's Closet Neon Glitter (We Used Blue)
- Crafter's Closet Wooden Letter's (M-O-M)
- Crafter's Closet Wood Letters and Shapes
- Crafter's Closet Precision Scissors
- Pencil
Let's Do This!
Step 1:
- Mix together purple, red, and white paint until you get a light purple. Paint your entire canvas. Let dry.
Step 2:
- Cut out your downloaded template and position onto your canvas, starting on the left side. Trace the shape with your pencil, excluding the vertical center line.
- Flip your template over and line up the ends with where your pencil marks end. Trace on the right.
- Mix together purple, red, and a little less white for a slightly darker purple. Paint the outer edge of the border. Let dry.
Step 3:
- Paint your small letters and heart with a light blue. Mix together blue, green, and white.
- While the paint is still wet, top the l-o-v-e and the heart with the neon blue glitter.
Step 4:
- Mix together red and white to get a light pink color and paint the larger letters, M-O-M. Let dry.
- Using the blue paint you mixed in the previous step; paint the edges of the three large letters.
- Apply dots following the edge of each large letter using the pink puffy paint.
Step 5:
- Arrange large letters and hot glue in place.
- Hot glue the small blue letters so they have a slight arc in the center.
- Next, take your glitter heart and glue to the right side of the large letter O.
- Add the final touches by places gems along the top and bottom points!
