Sparkle and Twine Ornament

Level of difficulty: Intermediate

Personalize your Christmas Tree this year with custom ornaments! This project is a perfect way to create a unique decoration for your holiday decor!

Step 1:

Cover the plastic ornament in a thin layer of tacky glue. While the glue is wet, sprinkle silver glitter over the ornament. Let dry.

Cut jute into long manageable pieces. Set aside one 12” piece of jute aside for Step 7.

Step 3:

In a large plastic cup, combine tacky glue and a small amount of water – mix to combine. Dip each piece of twine into the glue mixture and remove once the twine is coated. Wipe away excess glue with your fingers. Wrap the glue covered twine around the ornament as pictured.

Step 4:

To make the glitter bow, download and print the supplied template shapes. Stick the template to the underside of the Glitter Duct Tape and cut out the shapes. Assemble and attach the bow to the top of the ornament using the hot glue gun.

Step 5:

Braid together the extra piece of jute from Step 2 with a piece of gold and silver detail ribbon. Loop through the top of the ornament so you can decorate your tree or home!
